What to Expect in AP Classes

How to do well in AP Classes

  • Pay attention in class! Take diligent notes, stay engaged, and ask questions!

  • If you’re confused, reach out to your teacher. If you fall behind, it becomes far harder to catch up

  • Study for tests ahead of time! There is simply too much information to cram the night before

  • Consult outside resources! Khan Academy is a great tool for many AP Classes

  • Start studying for the AP Exam early – writing a one page review after each unit is a wonderful habit to start

  • Read the textbook! Most APs will test on things in the textbook that were not covered in class.
